Black Widow wrap party with Ynot/SinPelo, DVDs in the works.

While the 'Diary Of A Black Widow' series is long since wrapped and even available for viewing at tellofilms.com - The Ynot/Sin Pelo team had one big wrap party for all of their works over the last 2 years. Among them the before mentioned Black Widow, as well as the feature films 'Crossroads' and 'Into The Equinox', all of which Timberwolf took part in on various levels.

Many actors, shooters, producers, fans and friends of both Ynot/SinPelo and Timberwolf turned out for food, drinks and a cool video show of trailers and the first 5 minutes of 'Crossroads'. The night was a big success and we hope to have more of them in the future.

Now that the fun and partying is over, Rydell Danzie and Tim Whitfield will now get back to work on Black Widow as they will recut the series into a feature film to be released on DVD. The feature will include footage not shown in the series as well as a sound and visual polish over all the footage. The DVD is aiming for March/April.

The Timberwolf revenge feature 'Photographic' is at the distributors and is being processed. We do not have a date yet, but as soon as we know, you will know. That said, its only a matter of days now.

Stay tuned for two more episodes of "Obsession" over the next few weeks as well as more news on the feature 'Lucid Fear' which also has a DVD on the way. Finally, our new Vampire feature film starts pre-production soon.

Obsession Episode 6 - ONLINE

After a short break over the holidays, our 'Friday The 13th: The Obsession' web series starts up again with Episode 6.

'Amy' has now taken on the persona of 'Jason' and will confront Todd and her ex-girlfriend 'Nikki', as well as going to Camp Crystal Lake to find her new lover 'Stephanie'. Like the first two episodes this sixth show is very fast paced and has a much more brisk running time of 9min, and has faster action and kills, opposed to the 11-12min more character driven shows. After this show there will be only two more episodes as 'Amy's'world and 'Jason's' world become one.

Episode 7 will be similar to this one as far as action, style and kills, then Episode 8 will go back to the more complex and character driven stuff, only this time mixed with the more intense action and violence all rolled into one for the grand finale.

INTO THE EQUINOX - Teaser Trailer

While not a Timberwolf West Production, Rydell Danize, Shannan Reeve and the YNOT/SinPelo team shot this new feature in Alaska in 2011 and will be co-edited by Timberwolf for release in 2012. Shannan herself edited the trailer and it debuts today. Check out YNOT/SinPelo for more.

Timberwolf 's website closed out 2011 with a record breaking month... over 1,173 visitors in the month of December topping our 1,008 visitor record in November. One year ago at the end of December 2010 was just at 200, so its been one hell of a year.

Two New England short films from 2006 debut online...

When Timberwolf West was just 'Timberwolf' from 2000 till 2006 back in New England, back before lovely HD cameras, with producers Tim Whitfield, Mike DeFrancesco, Joe Patnaud and Kal Thompson, we shot over 20 short films, web series, fan films and even a public access TV show in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut and even New York. 11 of our short films were released on two DVDs 'Detour Into Madness Vol. 1 and Vol. 2' - Since those days many of those shorts have turned up online, however not all of them.

After watching a few of our shorts available on this site spike in viewership after the huge rise in site visitors, we felt it was time to let 2 more of our New England shorts debut online. Both of which have a connection of sorts to the stuff running strong online already.

First is 'Sanity or Survival' which actually started as a full length feature, that was a bit to big for us at the time we must admit. After the great response to the short film "Forced Survival' in 2005. Timberwolf set out to make a feature film version.

Unfortunately, much of the 'remade' material based on the short just did work as well as the original short film did, nor did it seem like it was strong enough to carry a feature film. However, the new expanded material added to make the film feature length turned out to be quite effective. So, director Tim Whitfield decided to rework the new footage, characters and expanded material into its own short film.

The finished short entitled 'Sanity Or Survival' plays much like a stage play driven solely by the actors and the performances without a complex or expanded plot. While it can be viewed and understood without seeing the original 'Forced Survival' short film, they do complement each other well as sort of a 'what if'.



The second short, also from 2006 is a VERY, VERY different style. 'Diary Of A Black Widow' is a very over the top, exploitational and downright offensive tale full of sex, nudity, sick humor and nasty kills. The story of a teenage murderess who seduces and kills horny guys, only to meet her match when she comes across a gay serial killer is twisted to say the least. Last year, Rydell Danzie and Tim Whitfield re-worked the idea of this original 2006 short into a quite different, and much more serious new web series from 2010/11.

"Rydell and I really only took the very basic outline from my original short. I have to admit it was mostly Rydell who brought a whole new level to the story." Tim explains, "His web series is much deeper, serious and complex and only the basic idea and a few similar events survived to the new version. In fact, if anything my 70s exploitation feature film 'Burlesque Massacre' has more much in common with the 2006 Black Widow short film then our revamped 'Diary of A Black Widow' web series does."

That said, those who liked 'Burlesque Massacre' and 70s/80s expliotation style will find much to enjoy in this little over the top short film.

Obsession Episode 4 - ONLINE

A tad late, but still here, the fourth episode of the Obsession web series debuts right here on our page.

With the romance pretty much out of the way, Jason and the darker elements will start to turn up, with some scary dreams and real danger creeping into Amy's life. After this episode expect the F13 world to take grasp for the remainder of the series, but still with our own elements weaved in as well.

Obsession Episode 3 - ONLINE

Another week, another episode of "Obsession" as the series settles into its weekly viewing plan.

The fun and relaxed feel of last weeks episode, now gets a bit more serious, deeper and passionate. This one defiantly pushes the envelope of a Friday The 13th type film, with a much more complex relationship forming then you may find in a classic slasher film.

However, Jason and other dangers are waiting to make their move... so never fear violence and gore hounds! Till then you can see two very beautiful and talented actresses (Hannah Townsend and Marie Lynn) carry an entire episode ALONE with no support from other actors.

Also this week the running time of the series grew to 15min, which is a bit of a jump from the 9 minutes from the first two shows. Some of the fans were suggesting the shows should be longer, and as it turns out the amount of story and footage dictated their idea OR add a 9th show. So, we made each episode longer. Next week in Episode 4, danger begins to appear in many different shapes, and Amy will have to decide if Jason is a friend or a foe.

In other news, our website shattered visitor records again by topping 1,008 unique visitors in the month of November, beating out our previous record of 789 from October. It was our goal to reach 1,000 in a single month in 2011 and it looks like we did it with a month to spare. Thanks to Burlesque Massacre, Diary Of A Black Widow and Obsession our traffic has grown over 5 times that of last year at this time, and we look forward to an even bigger 2012! Thanks to all our followers!

Obsession Episode 2 - ONLINE

The second episode of our Friday the 13th tribute web series 'Obsession' debuts today!

A bit more fun and relaxed, this second episode introduces most of the main cast and begins to set up the plot and relationships for the series. The relationship between Amy and her roommate Todd, in addition to Stephanie and her sister Kerri's relationship are important interactions which develop and take us through the whole series. But don't worry, Jason wants in on the all this character drama too!

There won't be a long wait for more episodes as the next few shows will be posted every week until Christmas. Episode 3 will premiere next week on Friday Dec 2nd. Check out our Obsession page for more details: HERE
