Obsession wraps episode 4

This past week Obsession finished up episode 4 in the 7 part tribute web series and now episodes 3,4 and 5 are complete. Next week Rydell Danzie steps in as director to shoot episode 2. Rydell did appear for the first time as "Kane" in this weeks shoot, the ex-boyfriend of Stephanie (Marie Lynn) and Amy (Hannah Townsend) was none too happy as some of her 'Jason' tendencies start to surface.

While episodes 3 and 4 are mostly character driven stuff we wanted to show you a bunch of shots from this past week just to give fans an idea on the level of quality we are going for on this series. This isn't a bunch of kids with a Jason costume shooting in their backyard (though this week we did shoot in the backyard ...lol). This is a very creative and character driven tribute to the series writer/director Tim Whitfield grew up on. While Jason is up to his usually trouble making, Obsession is not a fan sequel, or really part of the series at all. It's a stand alone companion piece, and we hope Friday the 13th fans and people who have been following Timberwolf enjoy watching it.

The series begins running near Halloween next month.

Obsession shoots a bit of romance...

While 'Friday The 13th' always has a bit of sex, drugs and rock and roll. One of the major differences with our fan web series is there is a pretty strong tale of romance wrapped up with the death and mayhem.

This week Hannah Townsend and Marie Lynn shot much of the character driven romance scenes for the series, and we are very happy to share some of the images from that shoot.

So far we have had to be a bit shy about what images we show and which we don't because of the scares and secrets in store. However, the unfortunate part of that is we can't show of the time and care we have taken to really give this series a creative and professional polish. Thankfully with this footage we can show off a bit more as the romance 'Amy' has with 'Stephanie' is common knowledge to people following the series. While there is no gore or body parts strewn all over, you can see images of two lovely and talented actresses at work and in character captured beautifully on HD by Darin Mangan, Rydell Danzie and Tim Whitfield.

Never fear though, 'Jason' reports back on set next week, and as we all know, he doesn't like teens hookin up while he is watching!

Photographic, Obsession and more...

Been awhile... seems we have less updates when we are hard at work shooting and editing. But we got some news for you on both features and web series.

First up, after a delay from summer plans, the feature film "Photographic" will be released on DVD and VOD early 2012. The very dark and raw horror with absolutely NO sense of humor has a very different vibe from "Burlesque Massacre" which we released last February. This trim and polished horror tale has much more in common with "I Spit On Your Grave" or "Last House On The Left" then a slasher film, as it is a dark and violent, almost documentary tale of rape, murder and revenge. In the next couple of weeks we will be adding screenshots and more info on the film and its production to its page on this site. In addition, we will have a new trailer in October as well. Stay tuned for that, and the official release date.

Also in October we will start showing the Friday The 13th fan web series "The Obesession". This project is 7 episodes and will be shown online for free, and is actually a remake/reboot of sorts to Timberwolf's very first production from the late 90's. It is currently shooting and you can expect a trailer and more info on that in the next couple weeks as well. We also just added a few more fan producers to the page.

Other updates on the site from now until October will be adding still images and other info to all the movies information pages as well as new images and project news to the blog and main page. The movie "Lucid Fear" will also get its own page in time for Halloween. The film itself is looking at a Christmas release.
